Lucas Santos is a Brazilian-born, Miami-raised, Boston-educated New Yorker and citizen of the world. With 12+ years of brand, marketing strategy, content production, digital advertising, social, talent management, creative partnerships, project management, and experiential services, he brings a comprehensive modern approach to every project with a global sensibility and thoughtful execution.
Lucas is currently the Global Director of Marketing at Standard International, overseeing marketing campaigns, partnerships, and digital initiatives for the brand and portfolio. Most recently, Lucas was the Marketing Director for the Travel Category at Condé Nast and the Brand Lead for Condé Nast Traveler. In this role, Lucas oversaw global multi-million dollar marketing initiatives from clients in the various travel sectors, including hotel, destination, cruise, airline, credit cards, and rental cars, activating across brands such as Architectural Digest, Bon Appétit, Condé Nast Traveler, GQ, Vanity Fair, Vogue, The New Yorker, and WIRED. As the Brand Lead, he oversaw editorially-led advertiser initiatives for Condé Nast Traveler, serving as the gatekeeper and arbiter of creative and style for each advertiser’s travel-centric marketing campaigns.
Prior to his time at Condé Nast, Lucas was a Marketing Account Manager on the Unilever account and Brand Marketer at L’Oreal where he oversaw promotional marketing across several beauty categories and managed new product launches for the US market.
